Belvoir brewery
(pronounced 'beaver') was set
up in 1995 by Colin Brown,
who previously brewed with
Shipstone and Theakston.
Long term expansion has
seen the introduction of a 20
barrel plant that can produce
50 barrels a week. A recent
move to a purpose built
brewery has seen production
increase still further and the
introduction of a visitor centre
the Sample Cellar. Up to 150
outlets are supplied direct and
Belvoir brewery has
purchased a free house, the
Sugar Loaf at Kettleby, which
will permanently feature
Belvoir draught beers along
with other regular and
rotating guest beers from
small and large independent
brewers.
