Fundamentals of Food Hygiene - Level 2 RSPH Course
The qualification for this course is RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health) accredited.
The heart of this qualification is an emphasis on the correct handling of "high risk" foods, along with the importance of temperature control. It is designed for anybody who handles food, but is particularly suitable for those working in kitchens or undertaking frontline duties in preparing, processing or retailing food.
It provides the basic knowledge for candidates to become safe food handlers and to be able to play an effective role in the food safety management system of the operator’s food business

People that hold this qualification will learn how to describe the importance of food hygiene, outline the nature of food hazards and describe good hygiene controls.
This is a one day course followed by a 30 question multiple-choice examination.
We can also come to your venue to deliver the course. Minimum candidates 3-6 depending on location.
