THE FRIENDLY PUB PEOPLEAfter two years in the research and writing we presented a National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders qualification to the Awarding Body, the Graded Qualifications Alliance (GQAL). They in turn submitted the qualification to the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) for accreditation. Supported by People 1st, endorsed by an MP who is a current Minister of State and subsequently accredited by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Qualification (GQAL Level 2 NCPLH) received National Accreditation on 1st May 2005. Following accreditation, in 2006 the responsibility for administering to the GQAL Level 2 NCPLH was passed to a newly formed independent company, Developing Hospitality Ltd.
