Our 'One Stop Shop' service covers the valuation of your business.  National and local advertising. The recruitment process. Arranging stock valuations on changeover day.  Advice on the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations) 1981. The collection and disbursements of all monies etc.

  • The Pubshop will value your business and attempt to achieve the best price for you. We will arrange for a valuation of stock and glassware on changeover day. Take care of all monies collected and make all necessary disbursements and notify Services/Utilities.
  • The Pubshop produces updated public house lists to send to all interested purchasers, as well as advertising in trade journals, local and national press and on the Internet.
  • Your Pub will appear on the Pubshop website with all trade details, ingoings and supported by a pictorial glossary of the property.
  • Pubshop will organise the 'Trade Permits to View' and attend all trade visits.
  • Pubshop will organise the Brewery/Company interviews for prospective new purchasers.
  • The Pubshop will conduct all the negotiations on your behalf.

Service Fee

4% of the total business sale value achieved. (Min £3,500).

Short Term Agreements £1000
If an inventory valuation is required, values of up to £25,000 are charged at 4½% and over £25,000 at 4% (Min  £500).

You will require the services of a solicitor for your Lease or Lease Assignment. Our conditions of this service ask you to appoint Pubshop as your Sole Selling Agent, for a minimum of six months.  In some circumstances we are happy to find a purchaser with the agreement of any other Agent that you may have instructed. We will require that Agent's permission to assist in the sale.
